To celebrate 80 years of Brioni, Kitchen Stories designed a narrative installation for Bergdorf Goodman, guiding visitors through four defining chapters of the brand’s history and values.
The journey begins in post-war Rome, where Brioni was founded at a time of cultural and creative rebirth. It continues with the brand’s groundbreaking contribution to menswear: the invention of men’s haute couture and the world’s first men’s fashion show—an event that redefined elegance and tailoring.
The installation then explores Brioni’s international expansion, with a particular focus on the United States and the role of trunk shows in establishing the brand’s global presence.
The final chapter is dedicated to the Scuola di Alta Sartoria, created to preserve and pass on Brioni’s artisanal savoir-faire to future generations.
Through storytelling, space, and visual language, the project translates eight decades of craftsmanship, innovation, and cultural legacy into an immersive retail experience within one of the world’s most iconic luxury department stores.
