Kitchen Stories conceived One Place, One Million Stories as a narrative concept for MCS – We The People, drawing inspiration from the American West and the majestic geological stratification of the Grand Canyon.
The project interprets the brand as a unique and symbolic place shaped by layers of experience, history, and identity. Like a vast territory composed of different forms and landscapes, each layer contributes to what comes next, creating a sense of belonging rooted in shared stories.
This idea takes shape through a suggestive window display featuring iconic works of American literature, from The Catcher in the Rye to The Great Gatsby. Books become symbols of collective memory and individual journeys, reinforcing the connection between culture, identity, and storytelling.
During the opening event, guests are invited to browse the books and sign the one they feel most connected to, adding their personal mark to the narrative. The experience is completed by a relaxed, convivial atmosphere, with traditional American food served in the bakery area and a curated selection of whiskey, cordials, and liqueurs in the American Bar & Club, accompanied by live DJ sets.
The result is an immersive environment where brand, place, and people come together—celebrating community, participation, and the layered nature of storytelling.
