Kitchen Stories conceived The Italian Market as a creative concept for Dolce&Gabbana, transforming both store windows and retail interiors into a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional Italian market.
Historically, the market has been a place of exchange—where cultures, products, and stories meet and influence one another. Located at the heart of the piazza, it holds a central role in both collective memory and everyday life, symbolizing encounter, movement, and vitality.
Inspired by this imagery, the project reimagines the retail space as a lively and unexpected environment, where Dolce & Gabbana’s different product categories are presented and experienced in a playful, unconventional way. The market becomes a stage for interaction, color, and rhythm.
Through this transformation, the installation reflects the spirit of a brand in constant motion—rooted in Italian culture yet continuously evolving—bringing energy, modernity, and theatricality into the retail experience.
